Aluminium Extrusions Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire is home to a thriving mix of manufacturers, engineers, architects, and product designers — and all of them share one thing in common: they need materials and components they can rely on. That is exactly where we come in.

At Love Aluminium, we supply precision aluminium extrusions to businesses across the UK, including those throughout Hertfordshire and the surrounding Home Counties. Whether you are developing a new product from scratch, scaling up production of an existing profile, or searching for a supplier who genuinely understands your industry, we bring the expertise, the infrastructure, and the passion to get the job done properly.

We are not a faceless distributor. We are a specialist aluminium extrusion partner — and there is a significant difference.

Why Aluminium Extrusions Are the Smart Choice

Aluminium extrusion is one of the most versatile manufacturing processes available to modern industry. Because of this, it has become the go-to solution for businesses that need complex, lightweight, and durable profiles at a competitive cost.

The process involves pushing heated aluminium alloy through a shaped die, so the result is a profile with a consistent cross-section that can be tailored to almost any specification. This makes it ideal for everything from structural frames and enclosures to lighting channels, signage systems, and automotive components.

Aluminium itself is a remarkable material. It is strong yet lightweight, corrosion resistant, and fully recyclable — which means it aligns well with the sustainability goals that so many Hertfordshire businesses are now pursuing. According to the Aluminium Federation, aluminium is one of the most recycled materials on the planet, with up to 75% of all aluminium ever produced still in use today.

So, if you are looking for a manufacturing solution that balances performance, flexibility, and environmental responsibility, aluminium extrusion is hard to beat.

What We Offer
A Complete Aluminium Extrusion Service

We do not just supply lengths of metal. We offer a fully managed service from initial concept through to delivery — and that matters enormously when you are working to tight tolerances, demanding lead times, and specific end-use requirements.

Here is what our service includes:

Aluminium Design

We work with clients from the very earliest stages of product development. Using CAD technology, our team translates your ideas — whether they start as rough sketches or detailed digital files — into precise, production-ready designs. Because we have been doing this for over 38 years, we know how to refine a design so it is both manufacturable and cost-effective, and we will always flag opportunities to simplify or improve your profile before a die is ever cut.

Extrusion Dies

Once your design is finalised and approved, we manage the manufacture of the extrusion die. This is a critical step, because a well-made die is the foundation of consistent, high-quality production. We handle this process with great care, so that when extrusion begins, the transition from concept to physical profile is seamless.

Aluminium Extrusions

Our extrusion service covers a wide range of profiles — from simple standard shapes to intricate custom sections. For businesses with complex design requirements, aluminium extrusion opens up possibilities that simply are not achievable through alternative fabrication methods. We work with clients across multiple sectors, including lighting, signage, manufacturing, and automotive, and so we understand that no two briefs are the same.

Aluminium Finishes

The appearance and surface performance of your extrusion matter just as much as its structural properties. We offer both natural and coloured anodising, powder coating across a wide range of RAL colours, as well as polishing and brushed finishing options. Whatever your aesthetic or functional requirements, we have the finishing capability to match.

Aluminium Fabrication

Beyond extrusion, we provide a comprehensive range of fabrication services including cutting, drilling, and CNC machining. This means your profile arrives ready to integrate into your product or assembly, saving you time and reducing the number of suppliers you need to manage.

UK and European Delivery

We deliver directly to your door, anywhere in the UK, including throughout Hertfordshire, and across Europe. Our delivery service is an extension of our commitment to keeping your projects moving, so you can focus on what you do best.

The Sectors We Serve

One of the reasons clients trust us is that we bring genuine sector knowledge to every project. We do not apply a one-size-fits-all approach, because the requirements of a lighting designer are very different from those of an automotive engineer or a signage manufacturer.

We work regularly with businesses in

– The lighting industry, where precision profiles and clean finishes are essential

– The signage industry, where consistency and appearance are paramount

– Manufacturing, where strength, tolerances, and repeatability are non-negotiable

– The automotive sector, where lightweight performance components are increasingly in demand

But our experience extends well beyond these core sectors. If you are working on something unusual or entirely new, we welcome the challenge — because some of our best work has come from briefs that nobody else wanted to take on.

A Track Record Built Over Decades

Love Aluminium was founded by Managing Director Jackie Kelly, who began her career in the aluminium industry back in 1985. Her early years were spent at Alcan Extrusion in Banbury, a plant that later became part of Alcoa and subsequently Sapa Profiles. Over the following 15 years, Jackie developed expertise across every aspect of the industry, from production floor to sales and customer service.

In 2005, UK Profile Components Ltd was established, which later became the brand known as Love Aluminium. Since then, the business has grown consistently, and today operates with a leadership team that includes Jackie’s sons Liam and Sean, who joined in 2020 to help meet growing demand and expand the range of services on offer.

But what has never changed is the personal, expert service that clients receive. Because we are a specialist business rather than a volume distributor, every client gets direct access to people who genuinely know aluminium — and who care about the outcome of your project as much as you do.

Why Hertfordshire Businesses Choose Love Aluminium

There are plenty of reasons to look further than your immediate postcode when it comes to sourcing aluminium extrusions. The right supplier is not necessarily the nearest one — it is the one that delivers consistent quality, competitive pricing, honest lead times, and the kind of technical support that makes a real difference to your projects.

We serve clients right across the UK, and Hertfordshire businesses benefit from the same responsive, personal service that has earned us long-term relationships with clients in manufacturing, construction, lighting, and beyond. We hold stock, we manage dies on your behalf, and we work proactively to keep your supply chain running smoothly, even when demand fluctuates.

Our clients tell us that what sets us apart is not any single thing, but rather the sum of many things done well: clear communications, reliable delivery, thoughtful design input, and a genuine willingness to go the extra mile. We think that is what a great supplier looks like, and we work hard to live up to it every day.
